Our double glazed polycarbonate prismatic skylights deliver the highest third-party tested Visible Light Transmission — 67% VLT with 100% haze diffusion. Many competitor units come in under 50%.
Up to 25% Fewer Units
More light per skylight. Lower total cost.
Under daylight responsive lighting controls, a skylight is a wireless light fixture — the higher the VLT, the more light each unit produces. Install up to 25% fewer skylights for the same or better light, with fewer roof penetrations, less flashing detail and lower total installed cost.
A 60 watt and a 100 watt incandescent lightbulb may look identical. They don't perform identically.
Neither do two skylights rated 50% and 67% VLT! In daylighting, VLT with 100% diffusion is the horsepower you need. The higher the VLT, the more light a single skylight produces, which means you need less units to meet or exceed your lighting goals.
