Free Daylight Design Analysis

To understand the benefits and effects that skylights can have on a building, the Heschong Mahone Group has created a simple-to-use spreadsheet program that is widely used to determine energy and cost savings.

By entering some basic information including the glazing systems, building design, and geographical location of the building, SkyCalc will calculate and graph the overall energy and cost savings for lighting, heating and cooling. In determining the results that Skycalc produces, it considers a variety of effects that skylights have on the building energy consumption.
